Our History At Ochi
Ochi Carribean Takeaway was opened on 17th August 1996 on the anniversary of the birth of one of Jamaica's national heroes Marcus Garvey. Both Marcus Garvey and Bob Marley were born in the Parish of St Anns not only the birth place of great men but a beautiful picturesque place of Dunns River and the town of Ochio Rios where the Ochio resturant name is derived from.
Such a beautiful place that Ian Fleming the creator of James Bond made his home there and the first ever James Bond film Dr No was filmed on one of its glorious white sandy beaches.
15 years on and our Shepherd's Bush, London restuarant is even more popular than ever. Every week we welcome newcomers through our doors as well as our regulars who all receive the same high standard of service.
Whether it's a small snack like a Vegetable Patty or a Fish Tea Soup or even a big helping of Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat or Steam Fish we've got the dish for you. Everything is cooked fresh on the premises and for a small surcharge, you can enjoy your meal in house (table permitting).
Ochi is a nice place to visit and an even nicer place to eat.
We look forward to welcoming you soon...
